Grilled Peach Spritz

The Grilled Peach Spritz is a new classic. Grilled peach flavor subtly sweet and absolutely gorgeous! Serves one but the recipe can easily be doubled or tripled!

Grilled Peach Spritz


4 ounces  Italian Sparkling Wine

1 ounce grenadine

3 ounces grilled peach syrup, recipe below


grilled peach slices and fresh mint, garnish

Grilled Peach Syrup

3 peaches, sliced into thick wedges

1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

1/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup water


    STEP - 1

    Preheat grill to medium heat.

    STEP - 2

    Brush peaches with oil and place on grill until golden brown marks form. Flip and grill other side.

    STEP - 3

    Set a few slices aside for garnishing. Place remaining grilled peaches in a small pot with sugar and water.

    STEP - 4

    Over medium heat simmer peaches in sugar water for 3-5 minutes until sugar is dissolved.

    STEP - 5

    Using the back of a spoon smash the peaches down to release their juices.

    STEP - 6

    Let cool completely. Over a bowl or cup pour peach syrup through a strainer. Store liquid in an air-tight container until ready to use.

    STEP - 7

    In a glass full of ice pour in peach syrup.

    STEP - 8

    Slowly pour in grenadine.

    STEP - 9

    Fill the remainder of the glass with Italian Sparkling Wine.

    STEP - 10

    Garnish with grilled peach slices and fresh mint.
