Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Biscuits

Since school is in full swing now and things are just getting plain BUSY, I need a good "to-go" breakfast that I can grab and run. But I hate spending money on expensive and not-very-good-for-you frozen breakfast food. These Biscuits are awesome because all the meat and cheese are baked right into them. Make a big batch and freeze for a great on-the-go breakfast. Just pull one or two out and pop in the microwave for 45-60 seconds!

Sausage and Cheese Breakfast Biscuits


1 lb Sausage (hot or Mild)

3 C. shredded Cheese (Colby Jack, Mozzarella, and/or Pepper Jack

2 C. Flour

2 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Seasoning Salt

1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

3/4 C. Half & Half or Milk


    STEP - 1

    Add sausage, cheese, flour, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper to large bowl.

    STEP - 2

    Add half & half or milk 1/4 c. at a time. Don't over mix.

    STEP - 3

    Scoop 2-3 in. balls onto a greased baking sheet.

    STEP - 4

    Bake at 375? for 20-25 min. or until center is done.
