Spicy Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

For Spicy Shrimp:

20 Medium Shrimp,peeled,deveined

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika

1/2 tsp Cumin,ground

1/2 tsp Cayenne Red Pepper Powder

1 tsp Lime Juice

1/4 tsp Onion Powder

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

For Cabbage Cilantro Slaw:

1 Cup Cabbage,shredded

1/2 Cup Red Onion,thinly sliced

2 Tbsp Cilantro,chopped

a pinch salt

1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder

1 Tbsp Lime Juice

1/4 tsp Red Chili Powder

1 Tbsp Honey

For Taco Sauce:

1 Tbsp Mayonnaise

1 Tbsp Honey Mustard

1 Tbsp Greek Yogurt/ Sour Cream

1 Tbsp Honey

1 Tbsp Hot Sauce

a pinch of Salt

Extra:

4, 6 Inch Flour Tortillas/ Corn Tortilla

chopped cilantro for garnish

lemon wedges

Directions

    STEP - 1

    To make the taco sauce, mix together mayonnaise,honey,honey mustard,sour cream and hot sauce. Keep aside.

    STEP - 2

    Peel and devein shrimp,wash and dry them. Apply the shrimp taco marinade to the shrimp,rub well on the shrimp to marinate shrimp. Keep aside for 10 mins.

    STEP - 3

    To make the cabbage slaw,in a bowl,add shredded cabbage, cilantro, thinly sliced onion,black pepper powder,honey,red chili powder and lime juice,mix well.

    STEP - 4

    Heat skillet,add some oil to the skillet and the skillet get hot.

    STEP - 5

    Arrange shrimp in single layer on the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes,turn them to get even cooking.

    STEP - 6

    Once they turn pink and cooked well,keep aside.

    STEP - 7

    Heat the tortilla, add slaw to each tortilla,shrimp,taco sauce,cilantro chopped and serve immediately.
